Green People Organic Sun Lotion Review

I did something really cheeky the other day. I saw a lovely review for this sun lotion from my pal Em at Island Living 365, and in the comments I *may* have asked Green People to hit me up with a review too…and it worked! I was sent a children’s factor 30, as well as one for me plus a 15 tan accelerating one.

Green People Lotion

Imagine therefore, my displeasure, when the sun decided to DISAPPEAR entirely for the whole of June. Seriously, I have not had to wear sun cream for the whole month. Neither has the boy, the weather has been that goddamn awful.

Then, when I was at BritMums, the sun came out! Him Indoors took the boy to Southend and they had a glorious time in the sunshine, using the suncream, taking lots of pictures…then Mark dropped his phone and smashed it to smithereens. Au revoir review pictures.

Am I cursed?!

No! The sun came out again today! Sun cream was applied!

Warpaint

It wasn’t as easy as some creams to rub in, but it did soak in nicely and went on smoothly enough. I was happy to know it didn’t have any parabens in it – they give me heat rash!

Here’s some info I lifted from their website:

  • Offers 97% UVB protection (the rays that cause burning)
  • High protection against UVA and UVB rays
  • Moisturising, soothing and non-greasy
  • Perfect for sensitive skin and prickly heat
  • Water repellent but non pore-clogging
  • Contains 78% organic content

Lovely!

Laying

Not a burnt nose in sight!

You can find out more about Green People and their organic, nasties free products – there are lots of others as well as sun cream – on their website.

I’m taking mine to Barcelona at the end of the month, to test it out in some hardcore sunshine so I shall report back then on the stuff for grown ups!

  1. Wow they saw your comment? That’s an idea to bear in mind! It’s good that you got a chance to try the sun lotion out. I wouldn’t have been so lucky here. It’s been raining a lot! #TribalLove

  2. Sounds great. I love natural skincare and always choose whenever possible to use organic and free of all nasties like Parabens. Must give these creams a try. Hope you have a lovely time in Barcelona I’m sure you will love it x #triballove

  3. I am now singing Baaaaaaarrrrrrrrcccceeeeeeeelllllooona. I blame you. Also jealous that you were sent some tan accelerator. Hit me up Green People 😉 I’m joking.

      1. Yep, I will have to make do with pale and interesting! Just read a newspaper article that last month was the dullest month for sunshine on Jersey for 2 decades!! mI blaming Green People sending me suncream. They jinxed me 😉

  4. That’s always the way with suncream! Last year I spent a ridiculous amount of money (well £5) on some childrens suncream at a water park when it was a lot hotter than planned for and then didn’t have to use it for the rest of the year! Yay for being cheeky and it working in your favour though! Lucy xx #triballove
